Description
This product consists of a pair of TPU coated blue nylon sleeves that slide securely into many handlebars. The system is built around 1/4″ hex drive bits and include a reversible ratchet, titanium T-handle, bit extension, and fourteen commonly used bits. Typical tubeless tire repair items are also included.
The titanium T-handle (14 grams) has been handcrafted in Alberta, Canada by Rollingdale Cycle. The six hex bits 2, 2.5, 3, 4, 5, 6 millimetre, the Torx-25, and the extension are made by the German tool maker WIHA. The reversible ratchet and seven bits (Phillips #1, 2,3, 4.5 and 7 mm blade, and Torx 15 & 20) are made by the Taiwanese tool maker Neiko.
The tire repair kit consists of a Genuine Innovations bacon and fork, aluminium Muc Off valve cap with integrated valve stem wrench, spare Presta valve core, ~6″ of upholstery thread with heavy needle, red TPU coated nylon tire boot, and ~6″ of fibre tape that may be suitable for some small repairs to tubeless rim strips. A six bit holder and four 6 inch zip ties round out the repair kit. The bit extension can also be used (carefully) to force the needle through tire sidewalls and boots.
Both rolls are capped with Lizard Skins bar end plugs.
Despite the small diameter of the handlebar, these ~ 9 inch rolls will hold most of the items pictured and others that you may want to add such as quick-links, super glue and tube patches. The sleeves can be shortened using a household iron, and resewn with the included needle and thread. The sleeves will also fit into many drop-bars. If suitably loaded the sleeves will conform to the curves in most handlebars.
Note: Before purchasing, roll up a sheet of paper and attempt to sheet it into your bars. Some carbon bars have obstructions from the manufacturing process that will not allow for adequate insertion.

Insertion takes even less time with two hands. 🙂 This roll contains the ratchet, extension with 6mm bit, and the titanium T handle, the package weighs about 100 grams.
